Drexel University’s Doctoral Candidate champions the evolution of nursing education by pinpointing and addressing its vital needs and gaps, thereby crafting groundbreaking solutions for tomorrow

Philadelphia, PA - March 25, 2024 - Are you a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) student eager to impact nursing education? Christina Ball, a dedicated doctoral candidate at Drexel University's College of Education, invites you to join her qualitative research study. Titled "A Phenomenological Study Exploring Nursing Students' Challenges in Higher Education," this groundbreaking research aims to uncover the obstacles faced by nursing students. Christina, an experienced RN passionate about nursing education, seeks to pave the way for solutions. This study, integral to Ball's EdD dissertation, seeks insights from both BSN and MSN students.

Join this study byt participating in a one-on-one or group interview on Drexel University's Zoom platform. Interview scheduling will be flexible and covenient, once 25 participants are confirmed. Interviews, lasting 30 to 60 minutes, will priortize participant privacy and confidentiality.


Verbal consent is all that's needed for this low-risk study, ensuring accessibility for everyone. Your participation will aid in advancing pathways for nurses seeking higher education, a crucial area lacking sufficient research. Moreover, yoyur involvement directly supports Christina Bal's pursuit of her EdD at Drexel University, making it a meaningful contribution to nursing education and her academic journey.
